The Independent Schools website was formed in 1998 by a School Bursar of Harrow School and sons that attended The Duke of York's Royal Military School. The website lists UK Independent Schools and promotes a private school sector broadly considered the best in the world.

Up to 2021, our ethos remains steadfast, and that is "Promoting Educational Excellence in the UK Independent Schools Sector.
